LanguaMetrics, Inc. is the developer of the TutorRev program.
This Privacy Policy governs the way the product website and application collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users (each, a ‘User’) of TutorRev (Website and Application). This privacy policy applies to all products and services offered by LanguaMetrics, Inc. and TutorRev.

Information is provided to us based on the user’s needs. The type of personal information may vary depending on the account type.
TutorRev provides feedback to users based on recordings of their oral recordings. These recordings are scored for pronunciation accuracy and understandability. Therefore, we collect and store recordings of users reading passages, sentences, words, and phrases. This data is referred to as “user recordings”.

We may use your information in the following ways:
- To provide customer service, address inquiries, and notify users of changes to the platform.
- To administer, support, and improve the website or application.
- To enhance the scoring accuracy over time.
User recordings are never sold or shared outside LanguaMetrics, Inc.
Adult users may receive communications such as newsletters. They may opt out at any time by writing to [email protected] or following the unsubscribe link in emails.
Students never receive marketing communications from LanguaMetrics, Inc.

Data is stored on Amazon Web Services in Northern Virginia. All data in transit is encrypted. Student data is encrypted at rest and stored for the subscription period plus 30 days unless otherwise requested.

We use administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect personal information. In case of a data breach, users will be notified within one business day.
